My wife, Melanie, and I are writers first and many other things second. I've have over 10 books published under my pen name, W.R. Benton, and I also own a web site design company, Peal Web Design. I do freelance cartooning, read a lot and also love the outdoors. I was born in the Missouri Ozark Mountains and, yep, I'm a redneck.

Melanie is a professional Photographer and a published author. She loves to camp, fish, and especially deer hunt. She can rough it in the woods, or take our pop-up camper, and does just as well in either case. She's a Mississippi gal, born and bred, and is a true Southern Belle.
